Dr. Sabine Braunschweig

Biography

Sabine Braunschweig (1961), Dr. phil., Historian and Adult Education Teacher. Dr Braunschweig works in her own Bureau for Social History in Basel, Switzerland, since 1996. Her fields of work are research on the history of nursing, psychiatry and medicine, as well as women’s history and history of Basel in the 19th and 20th century. She teaches at schools for Social Pedagogy, makes exhibitions on historical issues, does archival work and consults institutions and students in historical questions.
